With the grace of God Almighty ,blessings of my Gurus (mentors ) & elders …and best wishes of my loved ones and my valued friends & readers …I have great pleasure in conveying my greetings on the auspicious occasion of बुद्ध -पूर्णिमा….and in announcing the formal launching of this blog …and dedicating it to the…ever growing happiness of viewers and their families .

Today , I am glad to announce that … the basic structure of this blog is almost in the final shape …with much to be ADDED in every section and sub-section …week after week…The process of continuing to ….ENRICH the blog…by filling in the blanks and …adding my learning and experiences of …last 70 years …will continue in coming weeks and months .

The powerful message of Buddha is about …Great Life based on ….the “eight-fold-path“

“1-Right Conduct …2-Right Motives …3-Right Speech…4-Right Efforts …5-Right Resolve …6-Right Lively-hood ..7-Right Attention…8-Right Meditation ” ….for freedom from SUFFERING …and experiencing of divine bliss in our life .

This message has POSITIVELY impacted the life of ….billions across the world….during the last 2500 years and …continues to be most relevant…even today .

Buddha …brought awareness… greater CLARITY and awakening…for masses… about the SPIRITUAL CORE… of the time proven values and tradition practiced since ages …in Indian sub-continent as… ….सनातन धर्म ….SANATAN DHARMA …(सनातन=eternal )…fot the benefit of the UNIVERSE .…“सत्यम वद…धर्मं चर “…”सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिना” ….”वसुधेव कुतुम्भ्कम ” ….”एकं सत विप्रा बहुधा वदन्ति” …. …and many more human values in PRACTICE and seen in our BEHAVIOR ….in आर्य व्रत / भारत …since the time of Ramayana in त्रेता युग …Mahabharata (भगवत गीता )…in द्वापर युग and even much earlier in सत-युग …However ,there was gradual decline in behavior of people …with time leading to …more SUFFERING in the world .

Buddha after ENLIGHTENMENT… clearly understood …the relationship between SUFFERING and our WRONG- TSA …He explained …these human and moral values …
to common man …in simple …easy to understand language …by removing the DISTORTIONS & the BARRIER of language ….that had crept in …over a period of time…due to powerful VESTED interest and pressures…both internal and external.

Buddha stressed the importance of PRACTICING …these CORE human & moral values collectively called “Idea of India” ….(since these practice … EVOLVED as way of life in India …over a period of time… based on guidance of large number of ENLIGHTENED ऋषि…who had divine knowledge and ….desired to help the HUMANITY ) .

Buddha questioned the then ….prevailing practice of … getting LOST in… “ONLY…RITUALS ” …and “LIP-SERVICE”…but …IGNORING these core values …in BEHAVIOR… Sadly, this was the prevailing practice among the large majority …in his period …around 2500 years ago…(early phase of KALIYUG ) ….Since such BAD practices have increased …MULTI FOLD in current times …the relevance of…सनातन धर्म …and ideas of BUDDHA is also much BIGGER for our CURRENT generations .

Similar efforts for …presenting these ETERNAL …CORE VALUES …& spiritual ideas …
in SIMPLE language of masses ….was made in 15 th & 16 th century …in the form of …”राम -चरित -मानस” by तुलसीदासजी …&… गुरुबानी .…by सिख -गुरु साहिबान …and many such efforts in regional languages by other great Maharashtra, south India and east India .

2.4 Large Global Acceptance of ….”Idea of India”

The basic TRUTH & spiritual CORE …remains same …only the explanations & presentation is simplified …in different time periods…as per level of understanding of the audience… for their BETTER understanding .

These …simple and straight forward ideas ….“Idea of India”…found WILLING acceptance in large parts of Indian subcontinent … during Asoka period ….These ideas later spread to China…Korea …Japan…in the east and upto Afghanistan… Iraq and central Asian countries …Tajikistan etc …Also to Nepal …Tibet …Myanmar…Sri Lanka …Thailand …Cambodia …Indonesia and most other countries of south-east Asian…We can find many Buddha statues and practices in these countries which confirm this deep impact in large part of the world .

The “Idea of India” ..spread by followers of Buddha and others …as a totally
“NON-VIOLENT”….”Message of Love for Humanity “…influenced the thinking of …over 50% population of the world …in the period around 100 AD to 500 AD …and the POSITIVE impact …could be seen even NOW …in most of these countries …..

This is the biggest and most UNIQUE example of ‘Winning the Hearts of 50% global population “…never found else-where …in the history of MANKIND .
