(My life is a lesson)

I am sure a very large number of my blog readers have either met me or interacted with me in personal or professional capacity. These friends know about me a little bit or a lot… based on their interaction with me… in my different roles …But there could be many readers who do not know me at all and …hopefully many more such unknown people will join as readers in coming days .

Blog Writer …whom you should know as …a helpful elder in your own family…for right guidance based on…good knowledge and over 70 years of rich experience of life …for answers to your doubts & queries…and…solutions for challenges of life ….We will try to provide a very strong …”FOUNDATION for BETTER Life” …& …good solutions for many commonly experienced problems …through this BLOG …like over the counter medicines .

I wish to build and nurture … a relationship …with my valued readers through this blog …initially as their well wisher , elder and guide …may be later …as a trusted friend and “go-to person”…”solution-man”… for… answers for many challenging situations in their life….Possibly , at an appropriate stage …we will suitably expand this support further…develop a system and resources for… more PERSONALIZED consultation service …for many challenges and problems of modern life …like individually prescribed treatment.

Although this blog is for all age groups …the main focus is on ….young generation of my children and grand children … ( This is similar to the role of helpful ,supportive and comforting mentor …which I have tried to play for them … for many past decades )…These two generations have a long and eventful life ahead of them….and they are facing many complex challenges …They are the soldiers ….on the BATTLE front  , hence … “Better Beginnings” by them …could lead to BETTER Life …more fulfilling & more meaningful life …for them …their families …. society ….our India …our world.

In this endeavor , my entire family , my loving wife Rajni …my doting children Rakhee …Ram…& Arvind …my energy pack grand children Varun & Adya …they are all fully involved …as my inspiration ….valuable resource and support system for ….providing me the FAQs & FACTS about challenges faced by them and their generation …IT & “look and feel matters” … as well as …my perfect QUALITY check …the sounding board for all ideas and effectiveness of my communication methods …. Hopefully ,they will play increasingly important role in coming days …based on their life long association with me and …on the job effortless learning …in cultivating these good moral values & solution techniques …for last many decades …many times in unknowing manner.

Lessons of Life (LOL)…not theoretical ideas 

My desire and ability to share…some valuable “Lessons of Life ” (LOL)…. is due to… great DIVINE blessings of… over SEVEN (7) decades …in the form of a rich & eventful life …both personal and professional….a life full of many challenges , tough struggles , great experiences and memorable success stories ….Due to divine GIFT of SCIENTIFIC temper and as a seeker of TRUTH…I always had a burning desire to find the ROOT cause… as well as … know about cause & effect relationships …for many situations observed in our surroundings …This habit proved to be a great asset in… asking the RIGHT questions and getting the satisfactory answers …which are BOTH within us and… spread AROUND us in the nature …”यथा पिंडे …तथा ब्रह्मांडे “…We need to discover and uncover the TRUTH… which is always very near us…but many times remains UN-NOTICED by us …due to our FOCUS on many other temptations of life and…mischief of ALI-ALGEA ….(ALI-ALGEA is the family of …our eight-8 …main human weaknesses )…which OFTEN take control of our thinking and behavior.…due to our LOW self-control …leading to almost ALL problems in our life .

Eventful Times…Massive Global Change  & Mentors

This dream project has become possible…due to blessing of GOD which gave me …
over 70 years of highly eventful life …full of lots of learning’s and world -class team achievement …in some of the largest projects and organisations …This is also based
on the direct and indirect contribution and LEARNING from…all GURUS and wise people who came as a BLESSING …in my life …either in person …OR.. through books…internet ....TV programs etc … to guide my life as well as…. personal experiences of …over 5 GENERATIONS …spread over the most eventful period of over 100 years.


We have been witness to massive changes ….spanning from… बैल गाड़ी से मंगल-यान तक…(bullock cart to Mangal Yaan)…from log-tables & slide-rules to …powerful laptops of today …from a stage when everything from…even G-NIB & Parker Ink for our English writing practice was IMPORTED..in 1950 s …to great progress and sending of our OWN indigenous मंगल-यान in November 2013 ….“Lessons of Life” ….are based on struggles & experiences of ….grand parents and parents of myself and my wife (G-I&II) …own experiences of …self & wife plus over 12 siblings & many cousins on both sides (G-III)…our children & their cousins (G-IV)…our grand children (G-V)….Their lives have provided …many case studies and lessons in terms of DO’s & DONT’s

The opportunities & environment for …learning and inculcating… good human & moral values as well as professional competences…and exposure to ….cutting edge & BEST global technology and management practices … the IMPACT of these great learning’s on my life…is summarized in the next few paragraphs .

My Education

My early education started in a VILLAGE school near Jodhpur with minimal facilities . where my father was posted as Superintendent (Salt ) and District Head .We used to cover the distance of around 3 to 4 miles to our school on horse-back or camel-back …some times on a bullock-cart …or much later in our JEEP …along with our caretaker ….on the sandy desert roads ….Our parents were very careful  in ensuring the  best standard of education for us  in English …Math’s …Science …General Knowledge …and outdoor activities …despite the limitations of our village school… They devoted lot of time for us and acted as our diligent TUTORS and additionally inculcated scientific temper , discipline ,respect for elders and high moral values by training and example  …Later we were lucky to be posted in Mumbai and received best college education .Finally , graduation from IIT , BHU ,Varanasi in Electrical Engineering with Honors…a leading and prestigious national institution … was a nice and  fitting FINALE… for my academic life in mid of 1969…(over 50 years ago) …which opened a whole new era of many opportunities for me as given below.
